Time & Expense TrakkerTM

Maintaining accurate time and expense records can be a significant problem for busy professionals, and a serious drain on an organization's resources. Designed for the Palm® connected organizer, Time and Expense Trakker™ Direct brings complete functionality into a portable, easy-to-use platform, with all information automatically input into QuickBooks 2003. Using the new XML interface both the hand held and the accounting system stay in complete sync. Cut the cycle time and pain of the billing process, and eliminate errors inherent in manual posting.

  • Option for auto fill of the time or expense note from the billing description in QuickBooks
  • Time slip can be coded as billable or non-billable to the customer:job. Billing increment can be set to 1, 5, 6, 10, or 15 minutes and User can enter elapsed time on a project, or allow the stopwatch to compute. Option for system to automatically round up to billing time increment if the stopwatch stops on an odd (non-incremental) time
  • Expanded notes section (4000 characters) to allow for complete time and expense documentation. Notes can be entered manually or from the comments drop list. The comments drop list can be built as new comments or added to notes
  • Daily time review to calculate documented time for a day
  • User-defined labels on a time slip (Client/Project or Client/Matter) match QuickBooks' Customer:Job
  • Posts company credit card expenses to the credit card entry in QuickBooks.
  • Posts all other expenses to Account Payable for the employee. Expenses can be split across an unlimited number of customer:jobs and can be coded as billable or non-billable to the customer:job
  • Mileage calculation is based upon reimbursement rate and includes documentation in notes
